Happy almost Halloween guys! This weekend will consist of drinking hot apple cider, watching lots of halloween movies, and wishing it was colder out. It’s still 90+ degrees here in Phoenix (it actually hit a record 100 degrees today). However next week the highs start out around 84 degrees. Every year the heat lingers a little longer, I swear. I have to keep the air at 73 in my house just so I can wear my comfy sweaters.

Here’s some Β of myΒ Instpiration from this week:

I have the entire house to myself this weekend, and operation re-organize home office will commence. I also plan on doing a little shopping and filling out my closet for fall. It seems like everyone has been fall shopping for months now, but it’s literally just now cooling off in Phoenix. I’ve been so jealous for months of other bloggers who kept talking about fall. Arizona girls know the struggle. I did hit Zara last weekend and I grabbed a few long sleeve sweaters. Zara has exploded with bell sleeves everywhere, but they have really cute stuff this season.

A month or so ago I got a whole bunch of Honest Beauty products that I really want to review for you guys, but I haven’t gotten around to trying any of them yet! I think this weekend and next week I’ll start using them. I’ve heard mixed reviews about the brand as a whole. I’d say slightly more people have positive things to say, but I’ve heard a bunch of medicore things as well. Obviously I want to try the products for a good three weeks before I give my honest review (no pun intended). I think there is a skin tint and a lip balm though that won’t require too much testing.

I’ve been throwing around a few places I have in mind for travel early next year. I was actually thinking it might be fun to have my readers pick where I go! Which means YOU. I am not sure if people would actually participate, but I think if I had two places picked then I could do a little vote between the two, which would be much easier than just saying “hey where should I go?” It’s in the works! We’ll see what I come up with…

Going to leave this Quick Edit fairly short this week, as I don’t have too much to talk about. I hope everyone has a great weekend and a fun Halloween! Currently I’m staring at the 80 pounds of cookie dough, two boxes of frozen churros, and pumpkin roll by boyfriend decided to buy from his employee’s daughter’s Girl Scout troop. I’m not sure why 80 pounds of cookie dough sounded like a good idea, but it apparently did, and I am already half way through the pumpkin roll (gives evil eye).

What are your plans for this weekend?

-Emily

    1. Andreea I would love to travel to Bucharest! I’ve actually never been. Cold weather is way better than hot weather in my opinion haha. But then again I’m sure it’s just because I’ve been living in the heat my entire life.

  1. I think a vote between 2 choices would be awesome! I wish I knew everywhere you’ve been so I don’t seem repetitive since I know you’ve been to quite a few places. I could just give you my mini list and if anything interests you go for it – Melbourne, Croatia, Zurich, Glasgow, Palermo, Nicaragua, NOLA . . . okay I’ll stop there. Hah.

Also, love the 1st pair of sunnies in the 1st image.

    1. Oooo those are a good list! I would love to go to Croatia, and I imagine it would be pretty cheap this time of year. Or Zurich too. I am looking to stay within Europe I think. πŸ™‚

  2. Emily, thanks for this amazing IG inspiration! I am in love with every photo:) As for this weekend, it’s almost winter here in Montreal, so I am staying at home, drinking tea and watching Netflix, lol. If I had to pick any place to go, I would go to Barcelona. I’ve been there a couple of years ago, and it stole my heart! The food is amazing, the architecture is incredible, and if it’s warm enough, you can hit the beach:)

  4. It’s so interesting to think it’s only beginning to cool for you while here in England, I’m sure it’s always cold! Apart from the dark nights, I don’t think I mind too much though as it’s lovely to get snuggly!

  5. You always collect such beautiful insta pics! And I don’t know how you Arizona people do it, haha. When I lived in LA, some Octobers would be in the 90’s + and I just died. Hope it starts cooling down for you soon! There are sweaters to be worn πŸ™‚

  6. ahh as much as I am a warm weather type of girl, I don’t think i could take those high temps during this time of year seriously. I am so happy with the high 70’s weather we are having here in Rome right now. Also, I’m so excited to see what places you decide to travel to. I am getting the travelbug again myself and can’t wait to check out some new cities here in Europe.

  8. Oooh how exciting! I’m heading to Europe next year myself, Portugal for sure (need to say hey to my grandfather who’ll be 92!) and possibly Spain, Paris (for sure, so I can annoy my cousin) and maybe Germany. I’m not sure yet. Only Portugal and Paris are definites. For you, geez the world is your oyster! How about Iceland? I’ve been dying to see the northern lights. That could be an awesome experience for you to share with your readers!

I love reading your travel posts because as a fellow wanderlust blogger, they always get me excited to explore new places. I’ve just booked my first two trips abroad for 2017 and I’m excited to plan more…Also, Arizona, heat, can we swap? It’s so chilly in England right now. I’m wearing a roll neck, hood top and sweat pants just to be warm enough inside my house…Pass me that hot apple cider! haha.
