I had heard so many good things about these liquid lipsticks, and the hype is real. Kathleen Lights raves about OFRA and she also did a collaboration with them, so naturally, I bought her collab colour in Miami Fever. I am a bit sad I only bought one! I am purchasing more right after I finish this blog. This is the BEST liquid lipstick I’ve tried to date.
OFRA long lasting liquid lipstick is exactly long lasting, but I wouldn’t say it lasts all day because they never fully set on your lips. That being said, for a lipstick that doesn’t set they do last a very very long time. I really like that this lipstick doesn’t fully set because it makes it easier to scrub off and also apply another layer if necessary. If you’ve ever tried scrubbing off those Kylie Jenner lippies, you know the pain that is your lips on fire… So this my friends, is a nice change.
On My Lips
The formula is very buttery and whipped-like. It is labeled as a liquid lipstick but it’s a bit thicker than say a ColourPop liquid formula. What impresses me most is how soft and whipped it is, yet it doesn’t go on gloopy or thick (is gloopy a word?). The smell is pretty odorless in my opinion, but smell is one of those things that I think varies drastically among women.
The colour Miami Fever is sooo beautiful. I am completely in to oranges at this point in my life, and this one is a lovely burnt orange. It’s definitely an eye catcher but without being too bright and obnoxious. If orange had a gothic friend, this would be it. And I mean that in the lovliest way possible.
I am so impressed with this formula. You absolutely need to try OFRA and I cannot wait to purchase more (seriously, right after I hit publish). They also recently did a collaboration with Manny MUA, but I think those colours are sold out right now. Do note that they are an independent company from what I can tell, and these cannot be purchased anywhere but their own website which I will link below. Check out their long lasting liquid lipsticks and you won’t be disappointed.
Would I Purchase Again?
Yessssssss Yes Yes Yes.
Have you tried OFRA yet? Thoughts? What are you favorite colours?! They are all so pretty I can’t decide which to buy next. If you have any suggestions for me please leave them below!
