Brows are so often labeled as the holy grail these days, that I’ve actually started to put together an ‘A’ GAME brow kit for myself. What does an A Game brow kit include? It includes the best products to maintain, shape, and color your brows with. This will be different for every person depending on preference obviously. But today I am going to show you a few of my absolute favorite brow products to add to your brow kit!
1. Tweezerman Slant Tweezers and Tweezerman Scissors
Pretty self explanatory. I personally don’t like to wax too often because Taylor Hill said not to (jk, but really). I like a more natural fuller look and I find that some tweezing and trimming usually does the job. I use Tweezerman, which is probably the best main stream tool brand you can find at places like Ulta. I especially like the angle of these tweezers. It makes it easier to pluck.
2. Eco Tools Angled Brush
I like using this brush to fill in my brows with brow powder or brow dip. Eco Tools is a eco-conscious company that uses eco-friendly material in their packaging.
3. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz
I use dark brown in the brow wiz. This baby will help you to outline the bottom and top of your eyebrows, as well as the arch. One side consists of a creamy pencil in the colour of your choice, and the other side is a spoolie brush to blend in the pencil and help hide the appearance of the harsh lines.
4. ABH Brow Powder Duo
What I love about this is that you get two powders that compliment each other. I use the Auburn duo and they are the perfect colors to highlight. In most circumstances you want to use two shades to achieve a more natural look, which is the main benefit of the powder duo by Anastasia Beverly Hills. If you think about the hair on top of your head, it’s not one solid colour, so why should your brows be? That’s the idea.
5. ABH Tinted Brow Gel
I can’t say enough good things about this third and final Anastasia product. The tinted brow gel has a beautifully rich pigment and is the perfect companion to any brow wiz or brow powder. I use this in Auburn on top of my brow wiz in dark brown. It acts as a natural highlighter to the dark brown leaving your eyebrows looking full, natural, and glued to your lovely face. Your eyebrows won’t stray with this stuff! Even that unruly left brow…
6. Maybelline Brow Drama – Light Brown
As if I couldn’t have enough products that glue down my eyebrows, this is an absolute must addition. I find this product to be better, yes BETTER, than the ABH Brow Gel. The Mabelline Brow Drama will hold your brows in place all day long. The brush itself is genius, with a ball-like end full of bristles that doesn’t carry too much excess gel to your brows. I find this one much easier to work with because of the ball at the end. The colour light brown suits me very well (I am dark brown in ABH products), and this is perfect for back combing to get that feathered brow look. And at its low price point, you NEED this.
7. Maybelline Brow Drama – Translucent
This is the same product as number six, only translucent. I really like keeping this one in my kit too because I use it on quick days where I don’t wear much makeup (if any at all) and I want a super quick natural-looking eyebrow. This one I back comb in as well, and then smooth it out to shape my brows the way I want them. This one won’t hold as long as the light brown, but again, I go for a more natural look with this one. A great addition for those minimal makeup days!
